Macerie

Macerie (ruins) is the story of six teens, born and raised in a public house complex, surrounded by crime and violence, that finally have a chance to change their destiny.
They are no heroes, but they now have powers.
But how are they gonna use them?

Karima, a muslim 14 years old, has a strong bond with her brother, Tamar, who’s sadly involved in some shady business with Vic, a 19-year-old wannabe mafia boss, and Gabriele, his right-hand man.
After a weird accident, Karima has acquired a power, but she’s about to discover that she’s not the only one. She wanted to make a difference, be a hero, but she will face the harsh reality.
